Quadruple 556 Insert Features Break Down:
-Quite & Tight Elastic Retention

-Four 556 STANAG Pattern Magazines

-Hook & Loop Velcro® Interface

Note:
Smooth mags like the traditional GI Metal Mags insert and extract the smoothest while mags like the PMAG Gen3 will have tighter retention and harder to insert and extract due to the numerous ridges on the body of the magazine.

Quadruple 556 Insert

The Quadruple 556 Insert is an excellent piece of equipment that allows the use of 4 5.56 magazines in the ARC Placard V3. However, because I didn't have detailed knowledge of this item, I realized that I should have bought the RAM Elastic Inserts and not the Quadruple 556 Insert. But regardless of the mistake I made, the equipment is of excellent quality.

More of a hassle

I purchased to go on my gen3 USMC plate carrier. It doesn't mate straight onto the carrier as it requires a velcro panel. Holding four mags makes it hard to pull them out and put them in, even with loosening the placard shock cords. I don't think it's worth the money, sold it to fellow marine and reverted to traditional mag pouches.

Quad insert

This is the perfect insert for the V3 placard… it’s narrow enough to use the edge rows of molle and have them kinda angle outwards which makes the placard overall thinner. Indexing is not an issue, just use your big boy hands and practice.

Quadruple 556 Insert

It definitely it a great piece of gear, that I would highly recommended for anyone who wants to slim down there kit and be more tactical. The mags are a bit tight for the first couple of weeks but the gear just needs to be worked in.
