I was getting a little to much flex in my duty set up that caused my gun to bind during my draw stroke, especially while drawing at my maximum speed. I installed the SKV2 and it solved the problem. I just spent three days training in my rig and it was the best addition to my kit in years. The SKV2 is well mad, lightweight, and doesn’t restrict my movement.

I love the versatility of this pouch. I have one of the first gen and run it as a medical pouch. The updated version is even better. This pouch is very high quality. I am also running this as a medical pouch. It fits an entire DOK with additional room for more bandages. The tubes set up allows me to move it to whatever vest I’m wearing, like a range set up or entry vest.

I was using and older eagle industries carrier from the GWOT era style that was alright but like everything back then it was fairly outdated and just overall uncomfortable. I was almost going to buy a crye precision carrier but as I was doing research and going down rabbit holes, I kept seeing Shaw concepts pop up. (My background: I was a doc attached to 2nd battalion/2nd Marines about 10 years ago) I decided to start going through their videos and other’s videos of them and realized how much little things they were getting right on their plate carriers. So far this carrier is exceptional. It’s adjustable in a lot of ways I didn’t even think about, like even the tubes on them is something that seems so simple, yet it’s amazing in practice and it just works. Kudos to you guys.

I've worn a lot of battle belts and duty belts over many years. The setup of the interlocking inner and outer belts by Shaw Concepts is far superior to anything I've seen before. For the application that I'm currently needing, this fits the bill perfectly.

The shaw concepts sidekick is one of the best purchases I made for my duty kit. It's comfortable as all get out. It attached to my bang hanger/ Tek mount set up with ease. Would definitely buy again.

4 mag insert fits the mags tightly. I don’t feel the need to add retention bands to the top. Quality seems very good, though I haven’t used it extensively in the field yet.
