The ARC V2 Cummerbund is a part of our ARC Carrier V2 and it being the latest evolution of the Overt Combat Carrier. Designed to be load bearing for sustained field operations and to be easy to don & doff the ARC V2 Cummerbund truly stands apart from the competition. The ARC V2 Cummerbund features reliable and easy to use First Spear Tubes™ for quick disconnecting in a casualty or maritime situation. The ARC V2 Cummerbund is compatible with almost every carrier on the market that uses shockcord to lash on cummerbunds such as those from Crye Precision, Spiritus Systems, Issued Carriers and more. The ARC V2 Cummerbund has Molle/PALS down the entire length as well as on top of the First Spear Tube™ to optimize pouch real estate. It also features Soft Loop Velcro lining the inside for comfort and attaching other Hook lined pouches. While the included front flaps work with most carriers the First Spear Tubes™ are removable so they can be attached to our placards for the cummerbund to attach directly to the placard forgoing the flap and its associated bulk.

Only gripe is no elastic

The tube's are great and works with the the arc placard perfectly. My only gripe is there's no elastic to allow a little stretch. It's either a hair too tight for me or just barely too tight. So elastic would be perfect.

Coming from the AXL Cummerbund, I knew I was giving up some structural strength. Shaw Concepts Cummerbund excels at being a large platform but lacks in structural strength. Adding side plates helps but with just the two banded shock cord install, it feels lacking. Added the AXL Wedge Kit to increase the rigidity. Overall I’m loving the modularity that ShawConcepts Cummerbund adds. Beats the two banded AXL by a long shot. Maybe a V3 release will include more Tegris! 10/10 no regrets on the change, high quality feel to it!

Arc Cummerbund V2 Feedback

Great Cummerbund for a replacement of the Army Issued MSV. Lightweight, double sided MOLLE, breathable, plenty of options especially with the side buckets, I’m still waiting for em’ to arrive, I just ordered em’. My only gripe would be that the Small Medium is a little bit short, so definitely get the LargeXL, more MOLLE Space and less chance of the cummerbund to flip around when you take it off.

As always Great Work Shaw Concepts, looking forward to more of what y’all come up with in the future.
