Longevity and Comfort are a prime focus in all our products and the Side Kick is no different. Carrying a two pound death brick on your hip is easy but can wear down your side after a few hours or even days in the field. This is where the Side Kick comes in. The Side Kick is our solution to comfortably carrying your Side Arm and mounting other items we may desire to carry next to said Holster.
The Side Kick mounts to any Safariland Three Hole Pattern style Holster by using the three mounting screws and going on the inner side of your Holsters belt adapter. The Side Kick will work with the Safariland Mid Ride UBL, Safariland Low Ride UBL and the True North Concepts MHA. The Side Kick uses Close Cell Foam and Spacer Mesh for padding and comfort and features two columns of MOLLE slots on both 'wings' of the pad. A 1" Thigh Strap is included that features a durable side release buckle and an elastic section for stretch.

Do you need it? No. Is it nice to have in addition to being a solid place for another TQ or your Snickers? You bet your sweet bippy. Great customer service: 2 out of the 3 replacement screws were sent with the pad, but they were responsive and sent out more just about the next day.
I’m glad I have this holster pad, but unfortunately because the unit only connects to my safariland through its own bolts, changing the angle of the holster changes the angle of the strap and pad. Hopefully it’s obvious how the cant of the holster can create discomfort when the pad has so much body relative to a simple strap. I may rig it to the MHA with zip ties so that the holster can be articulated independently of the Shaw pad and MHA.
I use a true North concepts and after about a hour or so it starts to dig into my thigh had the same problem with the normal safariland belt loop to test if this product would stop the dig in my thigh I went on a small hike I was walking for two hours and felt no dig in my thigh holds my pistol down when I draw its not bulky or annoying to wear I love this product I have a tourniquet attached to it aswell I recommend this product to anyone having a issue with being uncomfortable from your holster digging into your leg
The idea of the extra molle on a pad is amazing and works well. Only gripe is that most other thigh straps on the market are somewhat elastic and are more comfortable during physical movement.
Thanks for the feedback! Do you find the amount of elastic webbing is not enough to reach the ideal elasticity you're looking for? And for the webbing would you prefer a wider strap? Please let us know and email any thoughts you have to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can compile them!
I have tried multiple leg straps. You can’t beat this. It’s the most modular and comfortable strap on the market. Thanks guys
