Shaw Shank V3 [SSV3]

The Shaw Shank Redemption has finally come (again) after a short break and some improvements. The Shaw Shank V3, or SSV3, is a side wing style pouch designed to comfortably carry a fixed blade knife (or shank, if you will) along the sides of an Armor Plate or Chest Rig. The SSV3 features a Tegris Thermoplastic Mounting Flap, which can easily be flipped for a right- or left-hand setup and uses Hook & Loop Velcro to mount to equipment. The SSV3 is lined with loop Velcro on both inner sides and comes with two 3"x2" strips of Adhesive Hook Velcro, which are to be placed on the knife sheath prior to placing it into the pouch. The SSV3 is sized to hold a sheath no larger than 3" wide, and the pouch is 5" deep. While the SSV3 is designed for carrying a blade, it can also hold a standard AR-style rifle magazine pouch, a small-sized radio (such as a Baofeng or Motorola), a CAT tourniquet, and more.
