I have wore a loooot of plate carriers during 10 years in the military. However, after all these years, I just can say I have only have one PC that suits me perfectly and I feel I can fully trust in our combat operations, and it is the ARC V2. The design is perfect, I love the cable management, the materials, everything is perfect.

…had to wait for a little while, but once I got them, I bought them for ALL my belts. My training belt, my work belt, my repel rated molle work belt. I bought back up pairs. I’ve tried suspenders, settled for vel sys at one point, doesn’t compare, in my opinion. Not a bot or AI giving this review. Just a guy that do something and likes a little less weight on my hips when wearing all the stuff.

With my build it’s tough to keep pants with the added weight from a belt from falling down even when tightened. These do a phenomenal job at keeping my pants where I want them even with a loaded down belt. The straps are so thin you wouldn’t even notice it under a carrier. A friend bought them at the same time and we both love these suspenders. 10/10 would buy for any future setups.

By far the best retention and minimal pistol pouch I owned and used. The ability for it to collapse when I'm in the prone or not using it and quick ability to reindex is second to none.

The material does not stretch and will not fit 30rd mp5 magazine and zip up.
You can fit a tourniquet and maybe a very small IFAK, but really it meant for AR mags. Any AK mags are out of the question.

This is the industry standard for a reason. You need them. Have a bunch. Put them everywhere. EDC carry at least 1. Not just in your car or in your drawer. EDC ON YOUR **** BODY MF! You can carry them everywhere, even gun free zones. Metal detected zones. Courthouses, Airplanes... carry the damn TQ. Most importantly, buy them from a reputable retailer. NOT AMAZON! Don't trust your life to potential fakes. Shaw is trustworthy, and they have the best price I have seen anywhere for a legit Gen 7 cat. If you see it cheaper than Shaw's price, $32, its probably a counterfeit. Also, get professional training on how to use these. And stage them properly. Out of the wrapper, with velcro open. And also tell your dad you love him. He needs to hear it as much as mom.

TLDR: Love the carrier. The Large/XL shoulder straps are too long. Or I need to hit chest more.

Have a Gen 1 and knew I wanted the Gen 2 when the Status pads replaced the old pontoons. Got the Small/Med but medium Rev H ESAPIs with medium Velocity Systems IIIA soft armor don't fit great. Exposed hook on bottom flap and could not raise plates any higher with all tabs loose. At 6ft 200lb, I should use Large plates. But Large USMC carriers are massive so I stick to mediums. The tabs let me dial in Medium plates with backers even into a Large carrier, but the shoulder straps cannot be shrunk further and covered up the 1inch webbing for direct pack integration (Arbor Arms Tradesman and PC Panel).
