I was using and older eagle industries carrier from the GWOT era style that was alright but like everything back then it was fairly outdated and just overall uncomfortable. I was almost going to buy a crye precision carrier but as I was doing research and going down rabbit holes, I kept seeing Shaw concepts pop up. (My background: I was a doc attached to 2nd battalion/2nd Marines about 10 years ago) I decided to start going through their videos and other’s videos of them and realized how much little things they were getting right on their plate carriers. So far this carrier is exceptional. It’s adjustable in a lot of ways I didn’t even think about, like even the tubes on them is something that seems so simple, yet it’s amazing in practice and it just works. Kudos to you guys.

I've worn a lot of battle belts and duty belts over many years. The setup of the interlocking inner and outer belts by Shaw Concepts is far superior to anything I've seen before. For the application that I'm currently needing, this fits the bill perfectly.

The shaw concepts sidekick is one of the best purchases I made for my duty kit. It's comfortable as all get out. It attached to my bang hanger/ Tek mount set up with ease. Would definitely buy again.

4 mag insert fits the mags tightly. I don’t feel the need to add retention bands to the top. Quality seems very good, though I haven’t used it extensively in the field yet.

Good for side plates plus soft armor. What i like best about these is that the side plates are actually comfortable in these inserts

Looks small when you first get it but dont let that fool you it can fit ALOT in there. I was personally able to stuff in a extra ifak kit, 8 extra mags plus about 6 extra grenades. I like the clips too so in a pinch you can unclip it go grab stuff you need

This is a major update and or upgrade in comparison to the V4. At least In my opinion. The sides are enclosed and not left open like the last gen. The bottom is adjustable for ride height on each mag. They did a great job providing multiple options for admin storage like the omnistacker or the nerd pouch. The placard will sit tight like a micro placard, or can expand for larger frame accommodations. I would argue this is the best placard on the market for your hard earned dollars. Spend em wisely.

I was skeptical about this product being compatible with the US Army MSV. I was proven very wrong when I tested it hiking a local mountain with almost 15lbs. It held up amazing! No issue of it sliding around, light bounce (which i expected), extreme durability, and i loved the ability to flip the bag over my head for easy access to its contents. I already convinced other Soldiers to look into this product because it is the perfect assault pack to carry your mission essentials.
